“Walking Across the Day” (Silver Bow Publishing) is d. n. simmers’ 3rd book of poetry. His poems have been published in the Capilano Review and Subterrain Magazine, and in many international anthologies. He was Vice President of the White Rock and Surrey Writers Club; is an online special editor with “Fine Lines” and has judged contests for Conceit Magazine, California; and selected poetry for Poets Touchstone, New Hampshire. He is also an active member of the Downtown East Side Writing Collective in Vancouver.
d. n. simmers has published 3 books of poetry —the 1st was “Food Truck Elements of Shadowed Lights” (Silver Bow Publishing 2018), which was a finalist in the annual “Fred Cogswell Award For Excellence in Poetry”2019.
His second book of poetry, The Red School Bus” (Silver Bow Publishing) was released in 2019. . He was born and raised in Vancouver, BC Canada.
