Candice James

CALL OF THE CROW

ABOUT THE BOOK

Every poem in this book has a reference or an inference to winged creatures of the Earth. Most of the poems predominantly have Crows and Ravens as their subject matter. Cover art by Canadaian artist, Lavana La Brey

Excerpts from poems:

“The Seagull’s Cry’: page 57

     When the seagull disappears,
     the echo of its cry
     will stain the wounded sky.

“White Swans at Midnight”: page 58

     The white silver sands
     had slipped through our hands
and the white swans at dawn
     disappeared with our song.
